The Roman amphitheater of Lyon, at one point completely buried by pasture, dug out by the man after which my school is named.A little amuse-bouche at a museum. One of the main squares. Here is good food, an art museum, a government building, and a handy meeting place.The view from my apartment. You can see the biggest basilica in Lyon on top of the hill, next to a radio tower (not the Eiffel Tower!).A high-end Carhartt store. Prices are jacked way up. Presented and sold like it’s Louis Vuitton. Lyon has two rivers that make the city into a peninsula. This one, to the west, is the Saône. American-style sandwich. Four hamburgers, a sauce of your choice, and fries as the topping.The only Halloween gear I could find. Sad, really. I think the French would love Halloween.
