Todayborday is Labor Day

Well, Monday was. Happy French Labor Day! As you might imagine, France is particularly fond of celebrating their work force, but they are even more fond of telling their bosses and politicians exactly where to stick it, if you’ll pardon my French. It was a wild day, so I think I’ll let these images and videos speak for themselves.

This is a bank. All of the windows were smashed. You can see the piles of broken glass that the worker has swept from the sidewalk.
on the front of my usual grocery store: “the world is too expensive, violence is free”
On the front of a bank: “look at yourself, fascist”
My usual bus stop, blackened and charred, with the map wall busted out.
Say cheese! This is one of four completely hollowed-out cars directly in front of my building.
